Wine Menu

Main Bar & Cellar Bar

Our drinks menus have been carefully considered to provide choice and quality.

The Milbank Arms serves an extensive selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

Cask ales from local award winning brewers Theakston and Timothy Taylor, with a guest ale.  Peroni, Anytime IPA and Cornish Cider are on draft. We also stock a selection of premium brands in bottles.

Our wines are sourced from a variety of wine merchants and selected to complement the menu. The wine list has been chosen for its sustainability and ecological credentials.
Our aim is to create a carbon neutral wine list, sourcing from the most progressive vineyards who have invested heavily in heat regeneration, wind and solar power.
All of our wines may be served by the glass through the use of a Coravin system, ensuring variety and the very best quality.

We also hold a small selection of exceptional wines for those who would like something special.

It's all about the taste

Let the evening begin

Behind the bar we stock a selection of vodka, whisky, gin, rum and a variety of mixers, including award winning Fever Tree.

It was a lovely place and in such a beautiful area.
It was a lovely cottage and so warm and cosy and the beds were so comfy!
We did have a little issue as we had have to move cottages and they were not expecting us but Karen was very kind and came and put the lights on etc but we missed out on the welcome tray!!
We were also told that there was no toilet seat at all as it was broken but I did struggle without this and we did ask twice about it.
We also found that there was only 5 plates and 4 bowls and hardly any cutlery !!
There were also no oven gloves which was difficult!!
On the whole though we had a really lovely break in a lovely little cottage

I was part of a larger wedding party that stayed in all of the different accommodation on offer and we all ate at the pub on the Friday night and had breakfast each morning. The staff were wonderful and very welcoming. Karen, the landlady, ensured we had everything we could need. The food was delicious and huge effort put into ensuring we felt looked after. The accommodation was beautifully renovated and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitated to stay here again. The standard of the rooms is very high and even the smallest room was comfortable and well appointed. A huge well done and thank you to all the staff who helped throughout the stay. read less

Everything we needed and beautifully decorated and furnished. It was spotlessly clean (and it’s totally dog friendly) and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast is included in the cost and you just wander across the courtyard to the pub.

We cooked one night and ate at the pub for the second. Our meal was delicious and the evening was made all the better by a welcoming and friendly waitress called Gail.

Barningham is a stunningly beautiful village and there is lots to do in the surrounding area, particularly if you like walking.
